Clarification 15 - The Smoke in 2052

Part of Alban Fejza: Refutations - The "Clarifications"

I. His Conclusions, and How He Reaches Them

Clarification 15 announces that the Smoke of 44:10 will arrive in 2052, on two "evidences": the seven H.M. initials, whose gematrical value (48) counts lunar years forward from "the time when Alban Fejza was given these initials" in 1425 AH; and the Sleepers of the Cave, whose "digits" - 2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9 - total 44, matching Sura 44 and the 44 years between his "discovery" and the event. The Smoke itself, he guesses, will be plasma in the upper atmosphere - "problems with phones, electricity, internet" - a "mild punishment... more like a warning," tailored to this generation's "preferred sin" of immodest staring. The closing sentence states the purpose outright: "The role of Alban Fejza is not to prove the Smoke. The role of the Smoke is to prove Alban Fejza." A credential, redeemable in 2052.

II. A Countdown From a Private Event

The mechanism itself has no verse. The Quranic initials were revealed to Muhammad fourteen centuries ago; the claim that they "represent the time between the time when Alban Fejza was given these initials and the time of the event" makes a private, unverifiable moment - Alban's reception of letters already in every printed Quran - the epoch of a divine countdown. Rashad's initials are the opposite kind of fact: counted letters in the fixed text, divisible by 19, checkable by anyone - the evidence documented across this site. And the details of the countdown fail on their own terms. "It is the only verse in the Quran which is repeated exactly seven times" - false: "Most assuredly, your Lord is the Almighty, Most Merciful" also occurs exactly seven times (26:9, 68, 122, 140, 159, 175, 191). His identification of the seven H.M.s as "the seven pairs" of 15:87 fails the verse's own noun: mathani means pairs - seven pairs would require fourteen H.M.s, and there are seven singles. Rashad's footnote identifies the seven pairs as the fourteen Quranic initials - and by 3:7, Alban's reading and Rashad's cannot both be the true meaning. Even the addition stumbles: 1425 + 48 = 1473, not his 1474 - the target year is off by one before the fence-posting begins.

III. The "Digits" That Are Not in the Verse

His second evidence opens with a quotation: "...the people of the cave, and the digits connected with them" (18:9). Rashad's verse:

[18:9] Why else do you think we are telling you about the people of the cave, and the numbers connected with them? They are among our wondrous signs.

Numbers, not "digits." The substitution is load-bearing: "digits" is what licenses keeping 2 through 9 while deleting the number that is not a single digit. Watch the deletion happen inside one verse - shown here with the title Rashad printed over it, "[300 + 9]":

[18:25] They stayed in their cave three hundred years, increased by nine.

Alban's set takes the 9 from this sentence and discards the 300 standing beside it - under a header that lists both. The same bespoke rule runs both directions: the implicit "two" of 18:12's dual ("the two parties") is admitted, while the equally implicit "one" of 18:19 - "We have been here one day or part of the day" - is skipped. Apply any consistent rule and 44 dies: include everything he includes plus the 300 he dropped, and the total is 344; add the "one day" his dual-rule demands, 345; count only numbers written as numbers (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 300, 9), 342. Only one rule on earth yields 44 - the rule reverse-engineered from wanting 44. Meanwhile the passage's own instruction, in the verse he quotes, is "Say, 'My Lord is the best knower of their number'... do not argue with them" (18:22) - and his prooftext for the discovery's purpose is amputated mid-sentence. He quotes 18:21 as "to let everyone know that GOD's promise (the Smoke) is true..." - inserting the Smoke and cutting the verse exactly where it identifies the promise:

[18:21] We caused them to be discovered, to let everyone know that GOD's promise is true, and to remove all doubt concerning the end of the world...

The promise of 18:21 is resurrection and the end of the world - which is precisely how the Sleepers are treated in this site's own study, The Count of the Sleepers of the Cave. His last support, "connected with future events (18:24)," cites the verse about saying "GOD willing" before making plans. Nothing in it concerns the Sleepers at all.

IV. Rashad Already Described the Smoke - and It Is Not Plasma

The nature of the Smoke is not an open canvas for guesses about the ionosphere. God's Messenger of the Covenant published its description in the Submitters Perspective of March 1990, under "Mark My Words":

Submitters Perspective, March 1990: Rashad Khalifa's description of the Smoke prophecy of 44:9-15

As prophesied in 44:9-15, per Rashad: a massive asteroid striking the Middle East; heat burning living organisms within a 100-mile radius; total devastation enveloping the Arab world; a giant dust cloud enveloping the whole world and obscuring the sun for a few months. Set that beside Alban's Smoke: a near-invisible plasma event in the upper atmosphere, inconveniencing "phones, electricity, internet," a "mild punishment... more like a warning" for people who stare. The verse sides with Rashad:

[44:11] It will envelop the people; this is a painful retribution.

A painful retribution that envelops the people is not a connectivity outage. And Rashad's footnote on 44:10 places the Smoke where 18:21 pointed: "Only two signs are yet to be fulfilled, this smoke and Gog and Magog (Appendix 25)" - the closing signs of the end sequence whose computed horizon, in Appendix 25, is 2280 CE. Note also the discipline in the 1990 exhibit: on timing, Rashad writes "I do not know when; but I have a strong feeling... Only God knows the exact time." The messenger with proof marked his feeling as a feeling. The claimant without proof publishes his guess as a Quranic extraction, to the year.

V. The Verse That Names Its Messenger

His closing citation stack for "the Smoke will prove Alban Fejza" leans on 44:13. In Rashad's translation, that verse's title is "God's Messenger of the Covenant", and its footnote reads: "The sum of sura and verse numbers (44+13) is 57, 19x3, and this Quranic code was proclaimed by God's Messenger of the Covenant (Appendices 1, 2, & 26)." The same 1990 exhibit lays out the correlations - 44+13 = 57 = 19x3; the word Zikra in 44:13 matching the Quran's 19-based miracle of 74:31; even 44:14's "Well educated, but crazy" already hurled at Rashad by his deriders. The verse Alban reaches for is, in the translation he claims to follow, wired by header, footnote, and published exposition to Rashad - as this series already showed when he tried the same verse in his "Logical Proof" video.

There is one more measure of how thin these two "evidences" are: the work of submitters who claim nothing for themselves. The man who says the Smoke's timing was "reserved" for him produced two sums - one anchored to a private event and off by one, the other to a rewritten word and a deleted 300. Meanwhile, a submitter study of the same prophecy at submission.ws presents seventy-six sequential facts - each a verifiable 19-based correlation across the Quran's text, the relevant dates, and Rashad's published announcement - built on the asteroid Rashad actually described, without rewriting a single verse. Whatever one concludes about timing, the contrast in method is the point: seventy-six checkable facts from a servant seeking nothing, against two manipulated sums from a claimant seeking a title. The information was not "reserved" for Alban. It simply never arrived to him.

Step back and watch the shield move. Clarification 12: no proof can come after the code. Clarification 13: no proof needs to come. Clarification 15: his proof is coming - in 2052. Twenty-six years of belief on credit, secured by a date built from a rewritten "digits," a deleted 300, a private epoch, and an off-by-one sum - with the escape hatch pre-installed: if the year passes quietly, 44:15 ("you will soon revert") stands ready to reclassify every doubter. A prophecy that cannot fail its author is not a proof. It is a subscription.

VI. What Survives - and What the Rest Is For

Peer review, as always. The Smoke is real and coming - Rashad's header calls 44:10 "The Smoke: A Major Prophecy," and the believers are indeed told to watch for it. The seven H.M. occurrences (Suras 40-46) are a genuine feature of the text, and H+M = 48 is correct gematria. The word dukhan does appear in 41:11 for the primordial gas - as far as the word, and no further. The command to watchfulness survives. What does not survive is everything Alban built: the countdown mechanism (no verse), the seven-pairs identification (fails mathani and Rashad's footnote), the digits set (manufactured by rewrite and deletion), the plasma (contradicted by Rashad's published description and by 44:11), the mildness (contradicted by "painful retribution" and "total devastation"), and the year (off by one in its own arithmetic twice over).

The function is stated in his own last sentence: the Smoke exists to prove Alban Fejza. The Quran's actual arrangement is the reverse of his in every particular - the prophecy belongs to God, the verse belongs to the Messenger of the Covenant who proclaimed the code, and the believers' instruction is neither a date nor a subscription, but the one word Rashad's translation preserves from the beginning: watch.
